Dear Management:

I am a Senior Geologist and a 1099 Contractor insured with General Liablity. Currently, I am the President of NZR Geologic, Inc. My experience and through remediation of soils would bring valuable assets your Company. My experience is in Environmental Site Assessments Phase I, II, and III. My background is in geologic mapping, magnetic prospecting, gravity prospecting, and resistively prospecting. I have spent a total of three years performing Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental investigations and remediation, monitoring well installation, soil and water sampling, soil and water descriptions, and report writing.

My work experience shows adaptability in a wide range of intense duties. My familiarity with New York States Technical and Administrative Guidance Memorandum (TAGM) and New Jersey environmental regulations came from two years of on-hand experience in the field. Every effort is made to ensure the safety of Drill Crews/Excavation Crews and the avoidance of subsurface infrastructure through experienced observation, the use of handheld magnetometers, and available scaled diagrams. My Geologic training is an asset when describing sediment (using standard soil classification systems) for the determination of groundwater behavior and possible geochemical interactions with contaminants.

My natural technical ability is apparent in the work history section of this resume. My ability to convert equations to MS-Excel format or write and execute calculations in MathCAD would be an asset to your staff. My technical mind is an asset when dealing with computer programs. I have confident verbal skills before any number of people in any venue.

By nature, I feel comfortable in interactive situations with others as well as independent situations. Depending upon the specific project I am working on, some people may perceive me as being confident and vigorous, while others might consider me to be quiet and reserved. I tend to be open-minded, imaginative and curious. I feel comfortable in roles that enable me to try out novel approaches, ideas and methods.

An appointment is welcome to discuss the strengths of my experience and training. I look forward to the possibility of a phone interview or personal interview for a position in the New York tri-state area.

Sincerely,

Barry E. Bowman
